The following Instructor Training Course Levels are scheduled in various countries throughout the world every year.  A summary of each level are posted below.  
 
Each class level  is a minimum of 4 hours (Edie usually runs overtime)
There are various short breaks, breakfast and lunch included.  Hands-on practice time, Salsa Syllabus DVDs, and question / answer session also included.  

  • IMPORTANT:  This type of training is more than just teaching "How to Teach".  It is training on business development and marketing as well.  Take a look at the class level outlines below to get a good feel for what I am talking about. 
     

  • I do not teach Moves or Combinations in the Instructor Training.  I also do not teach a particular “style”  This course is great for all styles; Cuban dancers as well as New York, Colombian, Cali Style, and LA style instructors who teach Salsa or any other form of partner dance.  INCLUDING fitness professionals.  I teach “teaching methods”, concepts, dealing with problem students, class management, running a profitable and successful dance school, how to grow your business, etc.

  • The only requirement for attending my courses is that you have DESIRE... desire to take your business and life to SPECTACULAR in every way.

Level 1   - Teaching Salsa -- 7 hours 
Level 2   - Building Your Business  -- 7 hours 
Level 3   - Spins, Styling, Choreography, and Dance Teams  -- 6 hours 
Level 4   - Understanding The Music, its rhythms, instruments, and its History  - the REST of the time!!
All levels - 24 hours

Levels 1,2, 3, and 4 Combined    24 hrs total in-class time.

  • No experience necessary.
  • Course is excellent for developing a solid criterion for selecting your own future dance instructors, dance team members, partners in business, mangers, agents, location(s), syllabus, and overall structure and curriculum of your studio, your "self".  
  • You don't even have to be a dancer to attend!
  • Please bring a notepad and pen.
  • No video or audio-taping allowed.
